Nunhead is a popular spot and deservedly so. Streets here are filled with period terraces, and this treelined road veers off Ivydale Road at the junction of the very in-demand Ivydale Primary School. Beautiful Peckham Rye Park is a short walk from here, while trendy East Dulwich just on the other side of this green space. You have the high street with some very good shops, namely the fishmongers and bakery, with a gourmet deli/cafe on Consort Road (Frog on the Green). Try the Rye Hotel for fab pub lunch or the Ivyhouse for alternative comedy nights. Jump on the P12 for a couple of mins to Peckham Rye station for zone 2 trains into London Bridge, Blackfriars and Victoria, easy.
