Inverton Road, Nunhead, SE15 - £549,950

When the architect-owner of this flat refurbished it, he took care to use eco-friendly products wherever possible. Original floorboards are finished in eco-oil, low voltage down-lighters have been fitted in the reception, kitchen hallway and bathroom. The whole apartment measures around 730sqft and has its own front door - an original with modern opaque glass panels. Original floorboards in the hallway and both bedrooms have been treated in eco-friendly oil while 100% wool Berber carpet is fitted in the reception. The kitchen has been cleverly opened up to flow into the reception and has a garden door. Ikea units are fitted, there's a Smeg stainless steel oven/hob integrated Whirlpool fridge/freezer, plumbing for a washing machine, thick (15mm) engineered bamboo flooring and matching 40mm solid bamboo worktops and splashbacks. Hole-in-the-wall shelving features in the reception and both bedrooms and there's a deep cupboard under the stairs. The bathroom has fittings designed by Jasper Morrison (including a wall-hung basin and back-to-wall W.C), tiles deigned by Wayne Hemmingway and taps, shower head and shower valve by Hansgrohe. It also has rubber flooring, a heated towel rail and a large bespoke mirror. Outside, the garden has been lovingly landscaped, faces directly south, has external lighting, a lock-up shed and rear decked terrace edged by built-in flowerbeds.

Walk to Brockley station in 11-15 mins for zone 2 trains to London Bridge and Victoria plus London Overground links to Canada Water, Whitechapel, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington. Nunhead station is a 10-13 min walk for zone 2 trains to Victoria, Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras. There are many superb pubs and cafes in and around beautiful Peckham Rye Park and if you walk across it, you reach East Dulwich in 12-17 minutes. Your nearest local pubs are both fab - The Ivyhouse and the Waverley Arms. Ivydale Primary School just around the corner and two Ofsted "outstanding" Harris academies are moments away on Peckham Rye.
