Danby Street, Camberwell, SE15 - £727,000

At one end of this row of houses, is this 2-double bedroom home. The galley kitchen has modern units, a large pantry and has been opened up to the dining room. There's also a separate sitting room at the front of the house.

Direct access from the street through the lean-to at the side of the house enables you to walk bikes or buggies straight through to the garden. With planning permission, it's possible to extend the house on this side and at the rear. The garden is another strong point of this property and measures a smidge over 62ft, faces directly south, has a brick-built shed and a large Scandi-style garden studio/home office with electricity.

Both double bedrooms have built-in wardrobes and there's a cupboard in the upper hallway. The family bathroom has a mixer shower over the bath. It's worth noting that you could also convert the front garden to create an off-street parking space.

You can walk to three train stations easily from here. East Dulwich is 5-7 minutes' walk (London Bridge), Peckham Rye is 8-11minutes' walk (zone 2, London Bridge, Victoria, Blackfriars, City Thameslink Farringdon and London Overground links to Clapham Junction, Canada Water, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington). Denmark Hill is 12-16 minutes' way for London Bridge/Victoria trains and London Overground links. Local schools include Bellenden Primary School and Peckham Academy (both rated 'good' by OFSTED) and the newly opened Belham Primary School. Two Harris Academies at Peckham Rye are also near (both OFSTED 'outstanding'). Bellenden Road is a minute away for shops, cafes, restaurants and bars while Peckham's centre is a couple of minutes' walk for a multi-screen cinema, supermarkets, a leisure centre with pool, library, art studios and some of the hippest bars and restaurants in south London. East Dulwich and Camberwell are also within walking distance for additional bars and shops.
