Nunhead Grove, Nunhead, SE15 - £649,995

People love these homes. For the price of snazzy local flats you can live in a cottage with a large garden in a truly lovely setting. Some great facts include a new Worcester Bosch boiler, a downstairs cloakroom, a wood burning stove in the dining room and a gas fire with cast iron surround in the sitting room. The bathroom's a swish affair with stone floor tiles, a smart white suite, shower over the bath and long metro tiles. White units are fitted in the kitchen, there's a built-in stainless steel oven/hob, plumbing for as washing machine, space for a dishwasher and a solid wood worktop. Floorboards are sanded back in bedrooms, receptions and the upstairs hallway and French doors lead form the dining area out to the garden. Measuring around 40ft, the garden has a lawn, flower beds and a large wooden shed at the rear which could potentially be used as an office.

Nunhead's high street is moments away for a delicatessen, fishmonger, butcher and baker - there's also a very decent open-fire pub on Nunhead Green (The Old Nun's Head). Local schools include Hollydale and Rye Oak primary schools while older kids can apply to either of the 'outstanding' Harris academies on Peckham Rye. Peckham Rye station is on zone 2 and has trains to London Bridge, Victoria, Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras PLUS London Overground links to Clapham Junction, Canada Water, Shoreditch, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington. You'll not want for excellent places to eat and drink: East Dulwich is a short walk across beautiful Peckham Rye Park and Peckham is bursting with uber cool bars and restaurants. ...Read Less
