Marmora Road, East Dulwich, SE22 - Guide Price £625,000

Marmora Road is known for the impressive double-fronted semi-detached Victorian homes that line it. This flat is on the first floor of a perfect example such house and measures a whopping 870sq.ft. Floorboards are sanded, walls are ice-white and ceilings are high. The reception has three arched sash windows, an original cast iron fireplace and room for a dining area. The master bedroom faces the front while the second and third overlook the rear gardens; all three are doubles. A concealed shower with wall-mounted shower rose is fitted over the bath in the bathroom and walls are covered in metro tiles. The kitchen has white handle free units, a solid wood worktop, white metro tile splashbacks, a stainless steel built-in oven with gas hob, dishwasher, washing machine and space for a tall fridge/freezer. A garden door leads to steps down to the large 76ft garden.

You're minutes from beautiful Peckham Rye Park and also have a very good parade of shops on Forest Hill Road nearby (two exemplary cafes-Norris and Knight and The French Cafe, a Co-op, Post Office, juice bar, DIY shop, chemist and beautician). Commuters can walk to Honor Oak Park station in 15-minutes for trains to London Bridge and Victoria and London Overground links to Canada Water, Whitechapel, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington. Alternatively grab a bus on Forest Hill Road and arrive at Peckham Rye station in around 7-minutes for zone 2 trains (London Bridge, Victoria, Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras) and London Overground services. Bus services travel up to King's Cross via Elephant & Castle and the City around the clock too. Local primary schools include Fairlawn and Goodrich while older children can apply to either OFSTED "outstanding" Harris academy at Peckham Rye, The Forest School, The Sydenham School or Kingsdale.
