Trossachs Road, East Dulwich, SE22 - £650,000

At just under 1100sqft, this is a whopper of a pad. It's made up of the two upper floors of a particularly good-looking Victorian semi that's just moments away from flashy-fashy Lordship Lane. Households couldn't feel 'on top of each other' with such impressively vast living space. Up on the eaves floor is an 18ft kitchen/diner and a separate 23ft reception with a charming rooftop balcony. Skylights, French doors and sash windows bring in the sunshine, wooden flooring is fitted and the kitchen has been carefully crafted to suit the beautiful joist lines. Units are modern, there's a built-in Bosch oven, an inset hob and an integrated dishwasher. There's extra storage space too.

Who wants to bagsie the biggest bedroom? It's lavishly large and beautifully bright. There are no short straws here: both the second and third bedrooms are doubles that overlook peaceful rear gardens. As if by a luxurious touch of magic, two bedrooms have en suite shower rooms while the third, effectively, has its own full bathroom, right next to it.

East Dulwich trains are a 6-8 minute walk away for London Bridge and West Croydon. Denmark Hill is a 15-22 minute walk (or you can hop on a bus) for zone 2 trains (London Bridge, Victoria) and London Overground links (Clapham Junction, Canada Water, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington). You can dip into any shop, restaurant or bar along Lordship Lane in moments and pick up the weekly shop, a vintage gemstone or a new dress. Local schools include the coveted Charter School, whose new premises are being completed on the site of the old Dulwich Hospital - just across the road.
