Frogley Road, East Dulwich, SE22 - £825,000

Once a Victorian worker's cottage, this pretty end-of-terrace has been meticulously crafted into a refined family home. Every window has been replaced by Bespoke Windows on Lordship Lane, the roof is new and all rooms have been plastered and freshly decorated. Walls are dressed in Farrow and Ball while windows are wearing made-to-measure blinds and shutters. The double reception is bright, has alcove shelving, rear French doors that open to the garden and stripped floorboards that continue into the hallway. The chequerboard wood lintel is a very nice touch.

Smart wood units line the good-sized, contemporary galley kitchen. There's a large freestanding range cooker, space for a tall fridge/freezer and a separate utility/boot/buggy area with a garden door beyond. You'll find a decent amount of storage space under the stairs in the hallway. All three bedrooms are doubles with new carpets and the family bathroom has a modern white suite, shower over the bath and heated towel rail.

The front of the house was recently repainted and the front garden was treated to contemporary paving. You can use the rear garden side-gate to bring bikes/buggies/large gifts for your wife (!) in and out easily. The garden has a paved patio, lawn, raised wall and is lit.

Everything is at your fingertips from here. Walk to East Dulwich station in 5-minutes for London Bridge and West Croydon services. Peckham Rye and Denmark Hill stations are 15-20 minutes' walk (or a 5-minute bus ride) for zone 2 trains into Victoria and central London plus London Overground links to Clapham Junction, Canada Water, Whitechapel. Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington. Nearby primary schools include Harris, St John's and St Clements and Goose Green while older children can apply to Charter, Kingsdale or either Harris academy at Peckham Rye. You're close to great restaurants and bars and a superb choice of independent and high street shops. There's a large Sainsbury's at Dog Kennel Hill and a Co-op and Marks and Spencer Food Hall on Lordship Lane. Local green spaces include beautiful Peckham Rye Park and wonderful Dulwich Park. ...Read Less
