Hindmans Road, East Dulwich, SE22 - £799,950

Being good-looking on the outside is all very well, but when your insides are so particularly polished, you're a winner of a home. The owners of this smart end-of-terrace house have taken extreme care to create a welcoming home with luxurious touches. The kitchen has floor-to-ceiling white gloss units on one wall, an integrated dishwasher, built-in stainless steel oven with a gas hob set into a thick cut dark wood worktop. There's good dining space, a ground-floor cloakroom. Concertina doors in the roomy rear reception open out to the garden, which has a decked terrace, lawn and borders with mature palms and bamboo. At the end is a garden-width studio room with concertina doors and a storage cupboard.

All three bedrooms are doubles; the master has built-in wardrobes and all have fitted blinds and biscuit-coloured carpet. Being recently installed, the bathroom is a luxurious pampering space with a curved Jacuzzi shower-bath, wall-mounted bath fillers, wall-hung basin with vanity unit and back-to-wall W.C. Excellent storage space is sorted via a large upstairs hall cupboard and masses of upstairs storage. The boiler was recently put in, the windows have all been replaced, new radiators have been fitted and upstairs was recently plastered and decorated.

Lordship Lane is a 5-minute walk for restaurants, shops, a Co-op supermarket, M&S Food Hall, Picturehouse cinema and the recently opened Harris Primary. Other favoured local schools include Heber and Goodrich while older children can apply to the new Charter School, Kingsdale or either Harris academy at Peckham Rye. Trains from East Dulwich station are a 10-15 minute walk and travel to London Bridge and West Croydon. Keen walkers can reach Peckham Rye in 18-24 minutes for zone 2 services into central London and London Overground links, or you can hop on a bus and be at Denmark Hill in 5-minutes. Denmark Hill is in zone 2, has non-stop Victoria services, London Bridge services and London Overground links. Buses aplenty will whizz you into town from Lordship Lane. ...Read Less
