Vesta Road, Brockley, SE4 - £950,000

There's over 1500sq.ft of space inside this becoming home. Being semi-detached allows for useful gated side access and being halls-adjoining helps minimise noise. Floorboards are stripped, original cornicing remains and there's a wood burning stove style gas fire in the front reception. The second reception has floorboards and side return views while the dining room has an oak floor, bay window and retro-style radiator. The particularly good-looking kitchen includes French grey units, a thick-cut wood worktop, Belfast sink and an integrated washing machine and dishwasher. The large freestanding stainless steel range has 5-gas rings and a double oven. You'll also find a modern shower room on this floor. The three bedrooms are doubles, while the current office would make an equally lovely dressing room or nursery. The large family bathroom has a roll-top bath and traditional-looking suite. Outside the garden measures just under 50ft, faces directly south and has a wooden gazebo over a stone patio.

Haberdashers' Aske's Hatcham College is one of the borough's most over-subscribed schools, has been rated "outstanding" by OFSTED, takes children from Reception to A-level and is a few minutes' walk away. New Cross Gate has regular trains to London Bridge and Victoria plus London Overground links to Canada Water, Whitechapel, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington. Seasonal events and a farmers' market happen at nearby Telegraph Hill Park, where views stretch right across London. Gastro pubs, shops and a large Sainsbury's are all nearby and you're within 10-minutes' drive to Blackheath, Greenwich and East Dulwich. ...Read Less
