Avenue Du Grand Plantier, Toulouse-Seilh International Golf Course, 31840, SE22 - £773,000

€890,000 (approx £773,000)

On the edge of Seilh Golf Course, in a secluded area surrounded by countryside is this wonderful detached house. Commissioned by its current owners, it was built in 1988 in a plot measuring around half an acre. The gardens are beautifully landscaped and include established trees, palms, shrubs and flowers. There's a 33x16.5ft outdoor swimming pool and large sundecks for alfresco dining and sunbathing. There's also a studio that's currently used for photography and an integral garage.

The house itself measures 2,900sqft, has 4 double bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room with a walk-in shower area. Living space is open-plan and in part double height. The kitchen, dining room and reception area all flow into each other and are surrounded by modern glazing. A wood-burning stove keeps things cosy during cooler months while air conditioning cools things down over the summer.

Toulouse Blagnac Airport is 10-minutes' drive while Toulouse city centre is 15km/9.3 miles away. Flights from Paris with easyJet and Airfrance take 1hr15mins. Famous for its food (cassoulet, confit de canard and of course saucisse de Toulouse ), this is France's fourth largest city and the centre of France's aerospace industry. Toulouse has a beautiful historic centre, art galleries, museums and many great restaurants.

The nearby city of Blagnac is also 10-minutes' drive; the medieval town of Carcassonne is an hour as is the Toulouse Lautrec Museum in Albi. You're around 1.5 hrs from the Pyrénées' ski slopes, 2.5 hrs from the Spanish border and 1.45-2hrs to the coast at Narbonne and Perpignan respectfully. You can get to a large Carrefour in 10 minutes while you're close enough to walk to a chemist, bakery, cafés and restaurants in about 15-20.
