Crystal Palace Road, East Dulwich, SE22 - £1,000,000

The deep pitches on these roofs and arched window lintels give this terrace of houses very attractive facades. Being halls-adjoining means your party walls are somewhat noise-sulated and being semi-detached gets you a gateway between your back garden and front off-street parking spot. The house is in pristine condition inside and has a large knocked-through reception, rear kitchen/diner and downstairs wet room on the ground floor. Floorboards are polished in most rooms bar the kitchen, which has large terracota tiles instead. Kitchen units are whitewashed wood, tiles and walls are pastel colours and the room beyond is a handy downstairs wet room. It might be worth noting a neighbour has extended the kitchen over the rear side return (which is a sizeable space), so a precedent has been set at the planning office...

Bedrooms are all doubles, with two being particularly large and the second-floor room has a double aspect. Sliding doors in the rear reception and a back door in the kitchen open to the garden - which faces precisely south west. Borders are chock with shrubs, fencing is smart and there's a useful potting shed.

Walk to North or East Dulwich stations in around 15-minutes, they're on the same line into London Bridge. If you're after London Overground links (Canada Water, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Islington) or other central London stops (Blackfrairs, Farringdon, St Pancras, Victoria) you can change at Peckham Rye. Buses also travel into the West End and City from Lordship Lane with services running through the night. All manner of excellent shops are to hand, from the coolest independent and chain retailers. You won't starve or die of thirst either - the drinking holes and eateries around here are legendary. ...Read Less
