Lovers of nature are in luck: Horniman Museum and Gardens is an eight-minute walk while Dulwich Park and Sydenham Woods are just five each. On the other side of the Park is Dulwich Village with its boutiques, eateries, superb pub and Dulwich Picture Gallery. A small parade of shops around the corner include a newsagent, florist, vet, beautician and a tapas bar.

Local primary schools include Horniman and Goodrich (both Ofsted 'good') while older kids can apply to Kingsdale, The Forest School, The Sydenham School or either Harris academy at Peckham Rye (both 'outstanding').
