A spectacularly elegant three double bedroom home overlooking Brunswick Park in Camberwell. Reach Denmark Hill station in just over ten minutes. Chain free.

With achingly high ceilings, a south-facing garden and views, views, views. St Giles Church spire is clear at the rear and as this home sits opposite Brunswick Park, your eyes fall across beautifully kept parkland and the ornate period townhouses lining it.

Over two floors and with its own (particularly lovely) private garden, this Victorian apartment has the proportions and feel of a three-bedroom house. It's been extensively refurbished, has abundant living space and large sash windows.

Originally this apartment formed part of Brunswick Square with the park being reserved for the private use of the homes on this, its south side.

Kitchen cabinets were handmade by Creamery Kitchens in Somerset with integrated appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine and recently installed Vaillant boiler. There's a Belfast sink, a freestanding five-ring stove, a solid wood worktop and a mosaic-tiled floor.

From an opulently styled reception, twin sash windows overlook the park, as does the next-door study. Sisal stairs lead up to three bedrooms on the upper level. All have painted floorboards, two have built-in wardrobes. There's a large hand-built linen cupboard in the hallway.

Both the bathroom and cloakroom are on mezzanine levels, a common addition in larger Victorian homes. Traditional fittings have been used in both; floors are mosaic, the bathroom has a deep tub with large rainfall shower rose and external valve while the loo has duck-egg tongue and groove panelling.

Outside steps lead down to your garden fringed by a mature wisteria and facing directly south. Established plants include many roses, bay, fig, gooseberry, mock orange, euphorbia, clematis, sedum, fennel, irises, tulips and quince.

There's easy on street parking here and garages are available if you're interested. Commuters can walk to Denmark Hill station in ten minutes for Zone 2 trains to Blackfriars, Victoria and King's Cross; London Overground services link to Clapham Junction and include an easy connection to Canary Wharf. Buses from Camberwell will take you into the West End and City (as well as Oval and Elephant & Castle tube stations) around the clock. Plans are underway to reopen Camberwell station to offer Thameslink services into London, Brighton and Cambridge.

Camberwell is a hotspot for new and exciting restaurants, including great pizza at Theo's, delicious wine at Good Neighbour, famous Chinese food at Silk Road and great Sunday lunches at The Crooked Well and Camberwell Arms. Lumberjack, Love Walk Cafe, Daily Goods, Spike+Earl and Pigeon Hole are all popular weekend brunch spots. Peckham's buzzing restaurants and bars are just a short stroll away.

Both tennis courts in Brunswick Park were recently refurbished and there's a new children's play area. The nearby leisure centre has a restored Victorian swimming pool and Pure Gym is within walking distance.
