Nunhead train station is a two-minute walk for Zone 2 trains to Victoria, Blackfriars, City Thameslink, Farringdon and St Pancras. Queens Road station is a ten/thirteen-minute walk for Zone 2 London Bridge trains and London Overground links to Clapham Junction, Canada Water, Shoreditch, Hoxton, Dalston Junction and Highbury & Islington.

Ivydale Primary is a few minutes' walk away and highly regarded, while older kids can apply to either of the Harris academies at Peckham Rye (both Ofsted 'outstanding') or Kingsdale.

Nunhead has a high street offering some great independent shops (fishmonger, bakery, butcher, cheese and wine specialist, bicycle shop, florist, very cool gift shop, high-end boutique) and some great places to eat and drink (The Beer Shop, a sourdough pizzeria, Babette, The Old Nun's Head, The Habit and even a new vermouth bar). You can walk to Telegraph Hill for views, the great café there, the farmers' market and seasonal events. Peckham Rye is also within walking distance, just across it is East Dulwich while Peckham is also walkable. All offer supermarkets, leisure centres, high street chain stores, cinemas and incredibly cool hangouts.
